This summer I was so incredibly blessed to have a crazy full season. I photographed 10 weddings, one of which was located in North Carolina, with 2 more to go!
I traveled with family to Washington (state) to see the gorgeous Pacific Northwest and drink amazing coffee everyday. My perfect nephew was born and I loved on him for a week straight in Ohio. Did I mention, I graduated with my Masters degree and landed a brand new job…?
Which brings me to my next point. Being a new school counselor is HARD. Its a lot of work and I am loving every minute of it. I have found I come home every day just to dive back into my work; with time I hope to find better balance.
While I seek that balance, I am choosing not to take on any new clients. I have gladly and with pride made commitments to document families on a regular basis, but cannot commit to any new clients. I took a similar break last winter and it helped me stay more connected to my work, both behind the camera and in schools.
I will not be taking on any new clients until after March 2016.
To all my couples and families,
Thank you for your trust and love. I look back on the last two years and cannot believe how far this business has come. I can’t wait to see where it goes!
To all the potential clients,
Still get in touch. I know a lot of incredibly talented photographers with the time to dedicate to telling your story. You look at others’ beautiful photos longingly because you want that captured for yourself. Do it. I haven’t met one person that has regretted getting a little bit dressed up and having their photos taken.
xo,
Carolyn
